The S1/S3/S7 Ceramic Ball Seat is a precision check-valve sealing component designed to deliver reliable sealing and long wear life in the fluid section. The ceramic sealing face provides excellent resistance to abrasion, making it a smart choice when spraying materials that are harder on pump components and when consistent pressure hold matters.
When the ball seat is worn, chipped, or contaminated, the check ball can’t seal properly—typically showing up as slow priming, pressure pulsing, poor pressure hold, or material bypass/backflow. Replacing the seat restores proper sealing at the valve, helping the pump build and maintain pressure more consistently.
