ASAB S Series - Replacement S1 High Pressure Filter Gauge

The S1 High Pressure Filter Gauge is a dedicated pressure gauge fitted to the S1 filter/manifold area to give a clear, at-a-glance indication of system pressure at the high-pressure side. It’s a practical diagnostic and setup tool—helping operators set working pressure accurately, monitor stability during spraying, and spot issues early (like pressure fluctuation, restriction, or a filter starting to load up).

If the gauge is leaking, the lens is damaged/fogged, the needle sticks, reads inconsistently, or doesn’t return to zero, replacement is the sensible call. A gauge that can’t be trusted is just workshop décor.

Safety Check

• Relieve all fluid pressure before removing or installing the gauge (follow the sprayer’s pressure relief procedure and trigger into a waste bucket).

• Isolate power (unplug/disconnect) before servicing the manifold or pump area.

• Wear PPE: eye protection and chemical-resistant gloves—residual pressure and fluids can still escape when fittings are opened.

• Injection hazard: never check for leaks with your hand; high-pressure fluid can penetrate skin.

• Restart carefully: pressurise gradually and confirm the gauge port seals correctly with no leaks before returning to normal operating pressure.
