The ASAB S1 Pressure Control Valve is the S1’s key control component for setting and maintaining your working pressure. It regulates flow within the control circuit so the sprayer can build pressure smoothly, respond to trigger demand, and hold a more stable spray output at the selected setting.
When this valve is worn, contaminated, or sticking, it can show up as pressure hunting/surging, difficulty achieving or holding pressure, inconsistent atomisation, or a sprayer that just feels “touchy” on the dial. Replacing the pressure control valve is a solid move when the pump checks out mechanically, but pressure control is still unreliable.
Key features
-
Purpose-built pressure regulation for ASAB S1 systems
-
Helps restore stable pressure control and smoother spraying performance
-
Common fix for surging, pressure drift, unstable control, or inconsistent spray output linked to valve wear
-
Ideal replacement during servicing where control components are suspected or contamination is present
What’s included
-
1 x S1 Pressure Control Valve (service replacement)
Safety Check
-
Relieve all fluid pressure before servicing (follow the sprayer’s pressure relief procedure and trigger into a waste bucket).
-
Isolate power (unplug/disconnect) before opening the control area or removing components.
-
Wear PPE: eye protection and chemical-resistant gloves—residual pressure and coatings can still make a mess.
-
Injection hazard: never check for leaks with your hand; high-pressure fluid can penetrate skin.
-
Restart carefully: prime at low pressure first, confirm stable control and no leaks, then return to normal operating pressure.
