ASAB S Series - Replacement S8 Prime Valve
Introducing the ASAB S8 Prime Valve — engineered for smooth priming, controlled pressure relief, and reliable high-pressure performance in the ASAB S8 piston airless sprayer. Designed specifically for heavy-duty commercial applications, the prime valve plays a critical role in transitioning the sprayer safely between prime and spray modes.
Built to handle the S8’s high-output pressure system, the prime valve regulates material flow during priming and provides controlled pressure bypass when returning fluid to the suction line. A properly functioning valve ensures fast priming, stable spray pressure, and reduced strain on internal pump components.
If your sprayer is difficult to prime, leaking from the return hose, struggling to build pressure, or failing to maintain consistent spray output, replacing the prime valve with a genuine ASAB component restores proper fluid control and system stability.
Key Benefits
-
Genuine ASAB replacement part for S8 sprayers
-
Ensures smooth transition between prime and spray modes
-
Maintains stable operating pressure
-
Reduces pump strain during priming
-
Durable construction for high-demand commercial use
-
Essential for safe pressure relief and fluid control
What’s Included
-
1x ASAB S8 Prime Valve Assembly
(Note: manifold body, filters, fittings, and return hoses are typically sold separately unless specified in the individual SKU listing.)
Safety Check
-
Always fully depressurise before servicing. Engage prime mode, trigger the gun into a waste bucket, and confirm pressure reads zero before loosening any fittings.
-
High-pressure injection hazard: Never place hands near leaks or pressurised fittings. Use cardboard or a rag to detect leaks.
-
Isolate power before removal. Switch off and unplug the sprayer before beginning work.
-
Inspect sealing surfaces and threads during installation. Damaged seats or overtightened fittings can cause repeat leaks.
-
Pressure test gradually after installation. Start at low pressure and increase slowly while checking for leaks.
