ASAB S Series - Replacement S1/S3 Ceramic Piston Rod

The S1/S3 Piston Rod is a core mechanical component in the ASAB S1 and S3 fluid section, transferring the drive movement into the pump to generate consistent stroke action and pressure. It needs to stay straight, smooth, and properly aligned to protect the packings, maintain an even seal, and keep the sprayer delivering steady output under load.

If you’re seeing premature packing wear, leaking at the packings, an uneven stroke feel, or pressure performance that doesn’t improve even after seal/valve servicing, a worn or scored piston rod is often the underlying issue. Replacing the rod restores proper contact surfaces and alignment—so the pump isn’t chewing through seals for sport.
