The S3/S7 High Pressure Filter Manifold Cap is the threaded end cap that secures the high-pressure filter housing and keeps the filter assembly sealed under operating pressure. It’s a small part with a big responsibility: maintaining a proper seal so the filter can do its job—protecting the gun, hose, and tip from debris—without leaks or pressure loss.
If you’re seeing weeping at the filter manifold, a cap that won’t tighten correctly, damaged threads, or seal issues after servicing the filter, replacing the cap is the cleanest fix. A cap that doesn’t seat properly will turn a routine filter change into a persistent leak (and nobody has time for that).
Key features
-
Retains and seals the high-pressure filter assembly in the manifold
-
Helps prevent leaks, pressure loss, and filter bypass caused by poor sealing
-
Ideal replacement when the cap is cracked, rounded, cross-threaded, or has damaged sealing faces
-
Suits ASAB S3 / S7 high pressure filter manifold setups (configuration dependent)
What’s included
-
1 x High Pressure Filter Manifold Cap (service replacement)
Safety Check
-
Relieve all fluid pressure before opening the filter manifold (follow the sprayer’s pressure relief procedure and trigger into a waste bucket).
-
Isolate power (unplug/disconnect) before servicing the manifold or pump area.
-
Wear PPE: eye protection and chemical-resistant gloves—pressurised coatings and solvents can spray unexpectedly.
-
Injection hazard: never check for leaks with your hand; high-pressure fluid can penetrate skin.
-
Restart carefully: reassemble fully, then pressurise gradually and check for leaks around the cap before returning to normal operating pressure.
