The S3/S7/S8 Transducer is the sprayer’s pressure-sensing workhorse. It reads fluid pressure in the system and feeds that information back to the control board, allowing the machine to regulate pressure accurately, respond to demand, and maintain a steady spray output.
When a transducer starts playing up, you’ll often see erratic pressure behaviour, surging/pulsing, inconsistent spray pattern, or fault codes/pressure readouts that don’t match reality. Replacing the transducer is a common, effective fix for pressure control issues—especially when the pump and valves check out fine but the machine still can’t hold a stable pressure.
